History

Superior Wrecker Service was started in Houston Texas by John Payette in 1991. John had 9 years of towing, and mechanical experience including 4 years in the USAF as a Mechanic & Air Cargo Handler in the Combat Mobility Branch of the 43rd Aerial Port Squadron Aerial Delivery Section Stationed in San Bernardino CA and 5 Years of towing experience in The City of Houston. John Payette became Certified by TRAA as a Light Duty Tower and was recognized as a Pioneer Tower for being one of the first Towers in the Country to be Certified by the TRAA. Later John was tested Certified by the TRAA as a Master Tower and was one of only 10 in the State of Texas. This was in addition to being tested and certified along with Euna Payette for Towing and Recovery by Wreckmasters. John is board member of The Houston Professional Towing Association as well as a Region 5 Board Member for Southwest Tow Operators
