Subsurface Library
The Subsurface Library, founded in 1962, serves as the premier geological data source for the Permian Basin, the highest producing oil and gas basin in the United States. With a vast collection that includes over 1,000,000 well logs, mud logs, sample logs, and unreleased datasets, it significantly enhances decision-making and reduces exploration risk for its members.
In addition to its extensive data offerings, the library provides membership reciprocity with 12 other geological data libraries across Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Colorado, along with access to well data from various governmental and educational bodies. Members benefit from geotech reproduction services and a conference room for collaborative use.
