Founded in 1938, Stripes is a subsidiary of Susser Holdings Corporation, which operates over 320 retail convenience stores in Texas and Oklahoma and over 135 Laredo Taco Company restaurants. It is headquartered in Corpus Christi, Texas, and maintains several locations in Brownsville, Texas.
