Stewart Regional Blood Center is a nonprofit community blood center. It is a fully-operating blood collection facility. Headquartered in Tyler, it has branches in Longview, Lufkin, Marshall, Mount Pleasant and Paris, Texas. It also offers mobile units that travel throughout the region to assist the facilities in collecting more than 35,000 units of blood annually. It is a community organization offering a variety of services, such as collection, processing, storing and distributing blood and blood components for transfusion. Stewart Regional Blood Center is responsible for meeting the demand for over 200 units of blood daily by patients in 30 healthcare institutions. Its Stewart's Scholars Scholarship program encourages high school students in education and blood donation programs.

A surprisingly busy center, even the donor parking is pretty close to full most of the time. They seem a little backed up and running around, but overall I respect the mission.

I have been coming here a few years to donate blood regularly and recently began donating platelets. The staff is great! I do not get paid for this. They depend on donors. Donate people !!!
