HistoryThe Jewelry Bar was started after the owner Christina Schulman lost her mother to suicide in February of 2013. She found herself needing to have an outlet to help her cope with loosing her mother. She always loved fashion jewelry and enjoys the creative process of making things with her hands. Christina began making beaded bracelets for herself and her 2 daughter's. After a while, her collection grew from a handful of bracelets, to several necklaces & earrings. She decided to turn it into a business after friends and family members encouraged her to sell them. Christina didn't want to limit customers to a few handmade, beaded jewelry pieces. She wanted to provide something for everyone. Eventually, she was able to find fun, unique statement pieces she would wear, and decided to sell them as well.
