Founded by Marianists, St. Mary's University has been operational for more than 100 years. One of the oldest catholic universities in the United States, it enrolls more than 10,000 undergraduate and graduate students annually. The university offers a wide variety of activities and programs, such as leadership center, campus recreation, career services, career counseling, testing and disability services, international student solutions, rattler student newspaper, residential programs, service learning center, and student organizations. St. Mary s offers several course, including accounting, applied management, biochemistry, biophysics, computer engineering, corporate financial management, criminal justice, criminology, Earth science, and economics. The university also offers majors in electrical engineering, English and creative writing, media communications, entrepreneurial studies, exercise and sports science, risk management, world history, and foreign languages and literatures. Additionally, it provides certificate programs in marketing, vocational and instrumental music, philosophy, psychology, sociology, software engineering, computer applications, speech communication, teacher education, theology, and military science. The university is located in San Antonio.
