St. John's Episcopal Church

St. John's Episcopal School, established in 1953, is located in Dallas. The school offers classes from grades kindergarten through eight, and serves more than 450 students. Its broad range of curriculum includes reading, writing, religion, mathematics, science, computer, social studies, health, fine and performing arts, and physical education. The school offers a wide variety of extracurricular activities, such as spelling and geography bee, mathematics counts, and technology and chess, arts and music clubs. The school s library offers books on various subjects, including language, arts, music and science and technology. The school s athletic activities include football, soccer, volleyball, and track and field. It also organizes various fund-raising cultural programs, and fairs and field trips. It has a parent-teacher association that assists in various school activities. The school provides health care, meal and transportation services to students.

Christ City Church is a Jesus-centered faith community in the heart of East Dallas committed to sharing real life and cultivating the flourishing of our city. We believe the Church is a people--not a place, program, or product. So we focus on maturing our relationship with God and with one another, as we are empowered by the Holy Spirit to follow Jesus in our ordinary roles and relationships. We believe Scripture is God-breathed and authoritative, while also valuing Church tradition and spiritual disciplines. We strive to be a church that is in the world but not of it, loving our neighbors and proclaiming Christ until He cannot be ignored. We meet for worship and communion on Sundays at 10 AM (and serve Cultivar Coffee). Join us!
