The Preservation Society for Spring Creek Forest is dedicated to safeguarding the future of Spring Creek Forest and Park Preserve, a biologically diverse ecosystem located in north Garland, Texas. By engaging community volunteers in conservation projects and providing educational opportunities, the Society highlights the importance of protecting this irreplaceable natural treasure.

Spanning approximately 230 acres of oak forest and native prairie, the Preserve offers over four miles of meandering dirt and paved trails, making it an ideal destination for nature lovers and bird-watchers alike. With nearly 200 bird species recorded, including the Painted Bunting and Great Blue Heron, the area serves as both a sanctuary for wildlife and a space for public enjoyment through guided walks and volunteer activities.
