History

Fishing has always been more than a hobby to me. It's my therapy, my entertainment, and now I get to do what I love for a living. Being a fishing captain runs in my family. My Grandad, two uncles, and my father were/are all fishing captains that have been fishing the Lower Laguna Madre dating all the way back to the 1950's. At the beginning of 2014, I decided to follow suit and become a charter captain so I can do something I love and live for. My biggest reward in doing so, is sharing my knowledge and experience with people all over the nation that come here to fish. Making memories with my customer's friends and family truly is one of the best feelings in the world.

I'm Captain Clayton Mock. I fish out of Parrot Eyes on South Padre Island, TX. Specializing in Trout, Flounder, Redfish and Black Drum. I fish all over the Lower Laguna Madre Bay, making sure my customers have the absolute best experience fishing while they're down here! Everything you need is on the boat and ready to go! I provide rods and reels, tackle/bait, ice and water. The only thing you need to bring is your saltwater fishing license, snacks, and drinks if you want something other than water.
