Special Beginings

Thanks for visiting the Internet home of Grand Prairie's newest, woman-focused, healthcare facility. Special Beginnings is a full service Ob/Gyn clinic operated by nurse-midwife Betty Winford, CNM. Since opening in May of 2005, 100 little ladies and 129 little gentlemenhave been born at the center. In addition to checking up on newborn babies and their moms, seeing three dozen (or so) expectant moms, and doing annual Gyn checkups, we are offering childbirth, childcare and lactation classes. Things are busy, but we always have time to meet you for your well-woman Gyn or Ob visit. To make an appointment or just ask a question, please give us a call. Our office hours are 9: 00 a.m. to 5: 00 p.m. - Monday through Friday. Our office is closed weekends. Since all after-hours calls are forwarded, please help us to be rested and fresh by saving non-urgent calls for office hours. Thank you. Our facilities offer women the option of delivering in water.
