Southwest Housing Compliance

Founded in 1995 by the Housing Authority of the City of Austin (HACA), the Southwest Housing Compliance Corporation (SHCC) serves as the Performance Based Contract Administrator (PBCA) for the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for select Project-Based Section 8 properties in Texas and Arkansas. Since its establishment, SHCC has aimed to ensure that families have access to safe, healthy, and accessible homes.

SHCC has been serving as the PBCA for Texas since September 2000 and for Arkansas since September 2004. The organization is dedicated to assisting HUD in its mission of housing compliance and providing continued support through various resources such as management reviews, rent adjustments, and disaster preparedness initiatives.
