History

Southern States Pest Control was founded in 1946 by Mr. Wade Whitmer. Wade built the business by providing a family feel and an exceptional service in his community. After building the Southern States name, Wade left the business to his son Charles. Charles never wavered from the same values set forth by his father and the business continued to flourish. Whenever the time came for Charles to retire, his son Joe was ready to continue the journey. Joe Whitmer, is the current owner, and there are no signs of slowing down for Southern States Pest Control!
