Son's Island

Son’s Island is an actual island in Seguin, Texas where you can rent lakeside Cabanas by the day, go kayaking, paddleboarding, enjoy live music on Fridays & Saturday evenings as well as stay overnight in a glamping setup! You access Son’s Island by driving across a 100-foot wooden bridge. Once you cross over on to the island, you’ll discover a very special place. Large cypress trees & cabanas outline the 4,000-foot perimeter lakefront Island! Tropical trees and plants abound, as well as thatched roof huts, leaving you thinking you’re on a remote tropical Island somewhere! Spend the day having fun with your friends and family swimming, fishing, water sliding, playing beach volley and more! You can also rent kayaks, paddleboards and floating mats, so you can explore all around the island by water! Or simply hang out in the cabana with your friends and family barbecuing & chatting, or rest in a comfortable hammock. Cabana rentals vary depending on the day and season.
