Sociedad Cultural Hispanoamericana
The Sociedad Cultural Hispanoamericana, established in 1975, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting Hispanic arts and culture while fostering understanding among the diverse cultural groups in Killeen, Texas. Through educational and cultural programs, the organization aims to bridge ethnic and cultural barriers by sharing Hispanic art and culture with the community.
In 1988, the Sociedad became a tax-exempt organization under the Code 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service, and in 2009, it was incorporated as Artesanía y Cultura Hispana. Monthly meetings are held at their Cultural Center, providing a welcoming space for individuals and families interested in Hispanic culture.
