Shirali Suryakant Patel, MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist at Kelsey-Seybold. She earned her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, in 2012. She remained there to complete her General Psychiatry Residency in 2017. Guided toward psychiatry by a mentor in college, Dr. Patel treats individuals struggling with their mental health. Nkeiruka "Nikki" Okafor, FNP-BC, earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Excelsior University in 2014. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing at Chamberlain University College of Nursing in 2016 to become a family nurse practitioner. Nikki joined Kelsey-Seybold's Family Medicine department as a family nurse practitioner in October 2023. Nikki cares for patients of all ages with virtually all health needs, including preventive care such as immunizations and physicals. She also provides diagnosis and treatment for both acute and chronic conditions such as skin rashes, digestive upset, UTIs and kidney infections, anemia, respiratory viruses, diabetes, asthma and others.

Felicia Yan, MD, MPH, earned her medical degree and Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in 2020. She completed her internship and residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine in 2024. During her residency, Dr. Yan provided primary care for both children and adults. She is passionate about providing comprehensive primary care for the whole family, from newborns to adults.
