Sheldon Community Fire and Rescue was established in October 1996 through the merger of two departments, serving a district of 60.3 square miles with a population of approximately 185,000 residents. The department operates four fire stations and is staffed by around 78 dedicated members committed to protecting the community through effective fire prevention and emergency response.
The Command Staff, led by Fire Chief Sidney Webb Jr. and Assistant Fire Chief Roland Balderas, is responsible for the overall leadership and operations of the department, including budget planning and training initiatives.
