Seymour High School

Seymour Middle School is an educational institution that serves more than 160 students in grades five through eight. It offers classes in reading, writing, math, science, language arts, social studies, English, Spanish, computer applications and physical education. The school additionally provides special education programs for students with developmental disabilities. It offers opportunities for students to participate in a range of sports activities, including basketball, football, cheerleading, cross-country, and track and field. The school operates a library that provides a variety of educational and learning materials. It also organizes several field trips and outdoor activities. Seymour Middle School is a part of the Seymour ISD, which also governs elementary and high schools. Seymour ISD is one of the school districts operated by the Region 9 Education Center, which provides services to over 39,000 students through nearly 125 campuses.
