History

Established in 1997, Service First Mortgage was founded by CEO and President, Shawn Broussard. The company was formed from humble beginnings as a small mortgage brokerage firm with a small group of dedicated individuals. Within a few short years, Service First grew to a full-service mortgage lending entity at the top of production and customer satisfaction in North Texas. In 2005, Service First was named one of the Top 10 Lenders in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area and the company moved its corporate headquarters to Richardson, Texas, to support the growing number of branch locations. Eventually, Service First would come to have branches across Texas in cities including Austin, Del Rio, and Laredo.
