San Benito-City

The San Benito Fire Department, established in 1936 as a volunteer organization, evolved into a career fire department in the 1990s to better serve the growing population of San Benito, Texas, which currently stands at approximately 25,000 residents. With a dedicated team of 26 firefighters and emergency medical technicians, the department operates from two fire stations and is equipped with a variety of emergency response vehicles, including engines, a ladder truck, and a fireboat.
