The visitor information center was started during 1968 to help enhance visitors stays in San Antonio during the 1968 Hemisfair.

We are the official Visitor Information Center for the City of San Antonio! We are centrally located in downtown across from the front of the Alamo making it easy to find us! Our destination experts offer great advise on San Antonio's point of interest, events taking place, places to eat, transportation and tour options and how to make the most out of your trip to San Antonio. We also carry unique souvenirs and gifts.
