San Antonio Art League + Museum

Don’t miss a visit the San Antonio Art League + Museum. This hidden gem is located in the King William Historic District, close to eclectic restaurants, shops, and historic attractions. Supporting the San Antonio arts community for over 100 years, the Art League is the oldest arts organization in the city. Inside this restored Victorian mansion, you will enjoy ongoing exhibitions of local and regional contemporary art, as well as an extensive permanent collection of works by notable Texas artists such as Robert and Julian Onderdonk, Jose Arpa, Emma Richardson Cherry, E.G. Eisenlohr, Mary Bonner, Charles Umlauf, and Amy Freeman Lee. Paintings from the Edgar B. Davis Texas Wildflower Competitive Exhibitions are at the heart of the collection. A Members Gallery and a Small Works Gift Shop offer the perfect opportunity to add to your collection or find unique gifts.
