When i first came across the word wabi sabi, the name in itself interested me. I read more about the lifestyle and loved what I came to know and believe wabi sabi is; Wabi Sabi is the japanese art of finding beauty in the impermanence of life. While we are here for a very short time and so are the things that surround us,. I have come to appreciate more and more the beauty in its presence, thus I believe in Wabi Sabi and want to live my life according to this art. Finding beauty in its present state is not very hard to do, take an old rusted bike for example. it's laying in an over grown field. you probably seen it there for years. go get that rusty old bike take it home, put a wire basket on it, prop it up and dress it with your favorite flowers. you just created something beautiful by seeing its potential. That is wabi sabi.... I personally started doing hair in 1988 and my little sister in 2000. I cant see myself doing anything other than finding beauty right now.
