HistoryWhile my business was officially launched in 2019, this has been an ongoing process over the last 20 years. I have always had a passion for women's health, child birth and newborns. Over the years I have studied, mentored and coached women through their pregnancies, births and caring for their newborns. I have gained hands on experience working side by side with other doulas and put my heart and soul into helping women have the most empowering and informative birth, breastfeeding and parenting experience possible. Prior to making the business official, I have served a multitude of families. Only recently did I make the decision to turn my passion and joy into a business.SpecialtiesI specialize in helping families have a better birth experience. Whether you have a scheduled C-section, an emergency C-section, a medicated or unmedicated hospital birth or an unmedicated home birth, I am there to support you. I offer emotional, physical and informational support to persons in labor and their families. I supply you with evidence based information to help you make the right decision for your family and can offer labor and birthing positions and strategies to help labor progress more quickly and more comfortably. In addition, I offer breastfeeding support and post-partum care to families. Whether you are a new mom or a seasoned mom, every baby is different and every experience is unique. I offer evidence based information and techniques to help moms and infants on their breastfeeding journey and support new moms emotionally through this transition.
