Rusty, started in boot repair and then added selling boots to his repair shop. As the retail business grew he quit repairing boots and concentrated on selling. Later he added clothing and continued to grow as the years went by. In 2018 Rusty's now has two locations to serve his customers. Rusty's Boots & Jeans in Mexia, TX and J.R.'s Western Wear in Hillsboro TX.
