Rio Bosque Wetlands Park, managed by UTEP's Center for Environmental Resource Management, is a 372-acre natural oasis in El Paso dedicated to preserving and restoring the unique ecosystems of the Rio Grande river valley.
Through partnerships and community involvement, Rio Bosque aims to bring back the wetlands and riverside forests that were once abundant in the region, offering educational programs, birding tours, and volunteer opportunities to engage visitors in the conservation efforts.

This park still needs work. It is nice to walk the trails when there is water flowing and see some of the birds.
