Rice Bikes, established in February 2011 by two sophomores from Sid Richardson College, began as a repair service and has since grown to offer rentals, sales, and collaboration with Rice University's annual Beer Bike event. In 2017, the business relocated to its current location in the garage of the Multicultural Center, becoming a thriving enterprise serving not only the university but also communities throughout Houston.
