Red Sands Elementary School

Red Sands Elementary School, established in 1998, serves the educational needs of students in prekindergarten through grade five. The school has an enrollment of more than 900 students and offers classes in mathematics, social studies, science and technology, computer science, health education, English, music and physical education. It implements the Proweb web-based student attendance system. The school is a recipient of the Golden Recognition Award from the Texas Education Agency for having increases in attendance and in math scores. It organizes various academic extracurricular activities, such as reader's workshop, everyday math and writer's workshop. Red Sands Elementary School is a part of the Clint Independent School District and is located in El Paso, Texas. The school s mascot is cowboy and has an enrollment of more than 800 students.
