History

Working as a lawyer in Houston, Terry Hamilton prepared estate plans for his clients. He only realized how much work was involved in liquidating an estate when he had to do it himself. Closing estates are difficult. It also took extra time because he was traveling an hour just to get to his parents home. Some of his friends were doing the same work for their families. Balancing the need to to take care of their loved ones' estate with the need to take care of their jobs and families was difficult. Sharon Carter suggested hiring someone to do the work for them. There was no single business that handled all of the work needed to close estates. After doing the work themselves, Terry and Sharon decided to found Quartet Estate Services. Their goal is to help other people save time and money and reduce the stress caused by closing out their loved ones' estates.
