Proud People Barber

History

Proud People in its first year resided in the Tiny Barbershop, and moved a few times out of necessity. We are now in east Austin in our very own trailer. Proud People is a start up concept by owner Lori J. Lozano, who's goal it is to inspire folx to have the courage to follow their ideas. We have developed and now use a toxic-free barber line of shave gel, aftershave, and hair + skin butter called LowKey HiQ Barber Essentials. The aim is to reduce toxicity in barbers work-space, reduce plastic use, consider what is planet safe, thus bringing an overall cleaner and more conscious experience to the vibe.

Specialties

Barbering for the discerning individual. Razor fades, tapers, boxes, scissor cuts, mohawks, fuaxhawks, combovers, short, medium, & long hair, brows, beards, designs. Undercuts. Sidecuts. -All hair- -All good- Loose, tight, wavy, straight. Neat or a mess. Come get fresh. People often ask if I cut women's hair, however, hair doesn't have a gender. I price by length, style and the time it takes. Simple standards.
