Prospera Housing Community Services

Housing and Community Services is a community-based nonprofit organization that provides affordable housing opportunities and assists residents to achieve self-sufficiency. It provides on-site, short-term case management to assist with goal setting and identifying barriers. The organization provides opportunities to participate in after-school tutoring, recreational activities, summer lunch programs, mentoring, computer classes and field trips. It also conducts health fairs and screenings, dental clinics and nutrition classes. In addition, the authority conducts adult education programs and general educational development and parenting classes. It operates on-site learning centers that serve youths and adults. Housing and Community Services is located in San Antonio.
