Established in 1999, El Paso First Health Plans is a local, nonprofit organization that provides affordable health care for the community. The organization offers a wide variety of products and services designed to target specific needs in the community. Its El Paso First Group Health is an affordable health benefit for local companies with 51 or more employees. The organization also provides a children's health insurance plan for children ages zero-18 in addition to its STAR Medicaid program, designed for children who fall into certain income guidelines and adults who qualify for supplemental security income.
