Founded in 1980, Gene's Machine manufactures a variety of machining parts. Located in Victoria, Texas, the company has a manufacturing area of over 40,000 square feet. It employs more than 50 individuals machining various ferrous and nonferrous materials, including titanium. Gene's Machine is Cameron Industries' only subcontract machining facility for their nuclear programs. The company manufactures a range of equipment for Fairbanks Morse Engine. Its customers also include Alcoa, Allied Signal, Diamond Shamrock Corporation, DuPont, Sonoco and Union Carbide Corporation. Gene's Machine s equipment inventory includes micrometers, bore gages, and milling and grinding machines. The inventory also features material handling, inspection, lapping and welding equipment.
