He was a team leader during the devastating earthquake in Gujarat, India, in 2003 and volunteered at the Heymann Shelter Home in Lafayette during Hurricane Gustav in 2008. Dr. Lathia also volunteered at the Lafayette Parish Community Clinic in Lafayette during his internal medicine residency.Dr. Lathia holds medical licenses for several states, including Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas.
