History

The Prairie Project was started in the Spring of 2012 as a new series of paintings by Austin artist David Mills. The series depicts old farm houses, barns and prairie homes painted in heavy impasto using mostly palette knives and usually painted en plein air. Original oil paintings and fine art prints are available at the Lone Star Farmers Market in Bee Cave, Texas and online at www.prairieproject.org
