Potishman-Lard Tennis Courts
Potishman-Lard Tennis Courts at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX underwent a significant upgrade in 2014, expanding from four to eight courts and receiving a facelift. The project included renovations to the existing courts, the addition of four new courts, and new lighting for the entire complex.
The original tennis complex, opened in 1979, was constructed under a grant from the Mary Potishman Lard Trust. The courts were christened by Leo Potishman and Clyde H. Wells, and a plaque dedicated to the memory of Robert S. Lard was unveiled. The complex features purple-painted courts and outdoor bleachers with a courtside view of the No. 1 doubles court.
