I have to say I don't envy thr people who clean these beaches! People are just nasty. We cleaned up the area ( mile marker 17) of the beach we were on. Cigarettes/beer can/soda bottle tops. We...

Beware of the tar balls / blobs on the beach, they can make a mess of your stuff! Be sure to have alcohol on hand to clean it off your feet ... or your dogs feet. Yuck!

Went to Port Aransas Beach for spring break and to my surprise it wasn't as busy as I expected. Great beacfor kids. It was mostly clean, no debris. Lifeguards were on watch when it was windy.
