La Petite Belle is a half-scale seaworthy reproduction of Rene-Robert Cavelier's ship LaBelle, situated in Palacios, Texas on Tres Palacios and Matagorda Bays. The ship's protected mooring site is currently located at South Bay Marina in Palacios, TX.
Constructed with modern materials for low maintenance, La Petite Belle features a fiberglass hull, cedar, mahogany, or pressure-treated pine decks and wood trim, and welded aluminum masts.
