About Peters Tractor & Equipment Co Jim Peters Ford Tractor was founded in 1984 by Jim Peters, Jr. in Livingston, Texas. It was established as a Ford tractor dealership with a focus on helping the customer, and hay balers. In 1989, a second location was opened in Huntsville, Texas. After working for years in the Livingston location, Jim's son, Jim Peters III, became the General Manager of the Huntsville location. In 1995, Jim Peters III purchased the dealership from his father, consolidating the dealerships into one central location and renaming it Peters Tractor & Equipment Company. As the market has changed, so has Peters Tractor & Equipment Company. We no longer cater exclusively to the custom hay baler. We offer a variety of products for the small acreage farmer, landscapers, weekend gardeners, and recreational outdoor enthusiasts. Peters Tractor & Equipment Company has expanded its product line to include Kubota and Vermeer equipment. Customer loyalty is our total focus.
