Pershing Middle School serves more than 1,800 students in grades six through eight. The school has a cafeteria that serves lunch and breakfast to students. In addition, it offers various after-school programs. Pershing Middle School also operates a library and media center that offers an accelerated reader program. Its academic curriculum includes English, mathematics, science, social studies, computer literacy, art, and health and physical education. Additionally, the school has a guidance counseling department for students, parents and teachers. Pershing Middle School offers a variety of additional courses, such as reading, phonics, language arts, history and geography. Located in Houston, the school is a part of the Houston Independent School District.

This school is terrible! honestly all of the middle schools I've seen are but this one is just plain bad, principals have came and went, they have budget-cutted so much, the kids have no respect...

This school doesn't know how to control these children that they are supposed to be watching from 830am-4pm. Very disappointed and I do not recommend sending your kids to this school.
