Alliance Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is the practice of Dr David Parmer and Larry Spradley. We provide state of the art oral and maxillofacial surgery for patients in the DFW Metroplex and surrounding areas. Our office is located on the west side of Keller, which is in the Aliance area north of Ft Worth. Our services range from removal of wisdom teeth and the placement of dental implants to advanced surgical procedures of the jaws and face.You probably know us as oral surgeons. The full name of our specialty is oral and maxillofacial surgery. Maxillo refers to the word maxilla, which is derived from the Latin term for jawbone. So as oral and maxillofacial surgeons we do surgery of the mouth, jaws, and face.We remove teeth that are erupted into the mouth as well as impacted teeth. Oral and maxillofacial surgeons are the specialists specifically trained to take care of your wisdom teeth. We put in dental implants to replace missing teeth and also perform any necessary bone grafting for dental implants. For pathology, we remove lesions from the mouth as well as cysts and tumors from the jaws. For trauma, we repair fractures of the jaws and face. We also reconstruct the jaws after trauma or tumor removal. We perform orthognathic surgery to correct misalignment of the upper and lower jaws. To provide for your comfort during surgery, various anesthesia techniques are used including local anesthesia, nitrous oxide ( laughing gas ) and intravenous sedation.
