HistoryOur History Hullabaloo House was built in 1952 by my Uncle Waylon Hughes. He was a well respected home builder in the Bryan, College Station area. People would wait 18 months for Uncle Waylon to build their houses because they knew it would be well built. They purchased this lot in Ehlinger Place, one of the few new neighborhoods at the time, and built this home. Our roots run deep here and we appreciate many wonderful things about the area's rich history. We love the downtown Bryan area, the Bryan Historic area, Texas A&M and the rich history of traditions it embodies. We love driving around town and seeing places that remind us of people and life of the past. And we love the idea of sharing our house with you.
