Palacios Community Medical Center

The Palacios Community Medical Center, also known as PCMC, is a community-owned, 15-plus-bed acute care hospital. Established in 1961, it operates a full-service physical therapy department that offers treatment for musculoskeletal problems and neck and back injuries. The hospital operates an inpatient and outpatient laboratory that conducts routine tests. The Palacios Community Medical Center also provides CT scan and X-ray services. It manages an in-hospital pharmacy and offers appointment scheduling services. The hospital provides skilled nursing care solutions and operates 24 hours a day. The Palacios Community Medical Center additionally maintains an emergency room. It is governed by the Palacios Chamber of Commerce.
