History

On July 6, 2005, Kathy and Patrick Terry opened their first burger stand at the corner of Barton Springs and South Lamar in Austin, Texas. With inspiration from his childhood, Patrick had planned to bring Austin a throwback to the late 50's and early 60's. Classic, diner-style burgers would be prepared the way they once were--fresh ingredients, friendly service, and the customer treated with utmost respect. As the first store was being built, Kathy read the book
