Olethia Chisolm, MD

​After graduating from The University of Texas Medical Branch in 1985, Dr. Ramirez completed her internship in Pediatrics at The University of Texas at Houston in 1986. She went on to finish her residency in 1998 at The University of Texas Medical Branch.

Emily is an Advanced Nurse practitioner with a bachelor's degree in psychology from Prairie View A&M and a Master of Science degree in nursing from the UT Arlington School of Nursing. Emily's clinical interests include family medicine, geriatrics, hematology and oncology. She works to make sure her patients see her as caring and compassionate. Her rich experience working in oncology and geriatrics has made her an excellent communicator and is an expert at working with physicians to help her patients find success through their care plan. She joined Kelsey-Seybold in 2023.

Dr. Chen graduated from The University of Texas at Austin summa cum laude and received her undergraduate degree in Business Finance. In 2008, she earned her medical degree at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She completed the Baylor College of Medicine Kelsey-Seybold Family Medicine Residency Program in 2011. Dr. Chen is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Texas Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association and Harris County Medical Society. When she's not caring for her patients, Dr. Chen enjoys exercising, traveling, gardening, baking desserts and spending time with her husband and young son.
