Oakland Lake Park is a small, hilly park located on Fort Worth's East Side, offering a peaceful escape surrounded by oak and elm covered hills. With a paved trail that winds around a serene lake, it is a haven for birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts.

Although swimming and boating are prohibited due to the lake's toxic condition, visitors can still enjoy the park's scenic beauty and picnic at the rock shelter equipped with picnic tables and boarded up fireplaces, making it an ideal spot for BBQs.

I'm so thankful for this park. Very nice relaxing place to be for the area of Fort Worth. It has a good size, nice little lake, and plenty of things to do
