The O'Henry House Museum in San Antonio, Texas, is a historical site where the renowned short-story writer O. Henry resided in 1885. こちらも散歩をしていたら偶然見つけました。Ｏ.ヘンリーさんが住んでいらしたことのある建物のようです。Ｏ.ヘンリー短編集って、日本人の多くは子供の頃読んであるのではないかしら？確か教科書にも載っていた記憶... この日は、見学しているのは私だけでしたが、もしアメリカの方がいらしたら「Ｏ.ヘンリーって日本でむちゃくちゃ有名なんですよー！」と教えてみたかったわ。驚いてもらえたかしら...

After leaving the closed Spanish Governor's mansion I stumped upon this historic landmark. This house belongs to William Sidney Porter. It is an example of old style Adobe house.
