NTMWD 121 RDF Landfill in Melissa, TX is a solid waste management facility that prioritizes environmental sustainability and water quality protection. Committed to reducing, reusing, recycling, and composting waste, they divert approximately 50,000 tons of yard waste from the landfill to their composting facility each year. Operating in compliance with regulations set by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, NTMWD provides solid waste disposal services to several cities and counties in the surrounding area, ensuring safe and reliable waste processing and disposal.

With three transfer stations strategically located in Plano and Richardson, NTMWD efficiently collects solid waste from residents and businesses, loading it onto larger trucks for transportation to the 121 Regional Disposal Facility in Melissa. This transfer process not only saves money but also reduces traffic and vehicle emissions by minimizing the number of waste collection vehicles traveling to the landfill. NTMWD's dedication to responsible waste management is evident in their monthly solid waste reports, which provide transparency and accountability in their operations.

Weird that nobody can provide assistance to an elderly lady in her 70s to drop stuff off at the dump. I guess you can say this place is a real dump

32.00 for a small load of trash in a pickup truck, plus you get a rude person to let you know they don't care if you dump your trash there or not. I'm so glad I called before going down there.
