Norwegian Society of Texas

The Norwegian Society of Texas (NST) is a nonprofit organization established in 1975 with the mission to celebrate, preserve, and promote Norwegian heritage throughout the state. As the only statewide organization for Norwegian Texans, NST has successfully achieved a variety of historical and educational goals since its inception.

With a rich history that began with the first organized migration of Norwegians to North America in 1825, NST engages in numerous events and activities that honor this cultural legacy. The society also provides resources and support through scholarships, genealogy links, and community chapters across Texas.
