Our family-owned North Texas Transmission, Inc. was founded in 1990 by Richard Maddux. Richard started in the transmission business when he was 18 working for his father. In 1990, at the age of 28, Richard decided to start his own business. He started in a small two bay shop by himself in Arlington, TX. Now, 23 years later, our family owned transmission repair shop is still here serving Arlington just one block from where it all started.

These guys are great! One of the few in town I could find that can handle Nissan CVT transmissions issues. They were honest with the repairs needed and fair with the price. 5 all the way!!

Great work and great people. If you have a 2016+ model GM truck and are being told you need a new transmission. Do yourself a favor and bring it here and you won't be disappointed.
