Nonna's New Orleans Ice

History

Our family started in south Louisiana and growing up snowballs were a summertime treat. We wanted to bring that same enjoyment to our neighbors and friends here in the Houston area. We took an old 1966 Shasta travel trailer and converted it to our own sweet shop where we make and sell amazing syrup, decadent waffles treats and a few extras from time to time. We have our permanent location at the cross roads of West Rd. and Steepleway (at the Chevron station) but we are mobile too! We would love to come to your event or party. We offer specials and partner with local organizations in an effort to provide them with a little additional income by donating a portion of the proceeds.

Specialties

Nonnas has delicious shaved ice just like down in New Orleans. We make our own syrup and offer so many flavors you won't know what to choose. Snowball not your thing? No problem try one of our waffles on a stick. We have a regular waffle with syrup, powdered sugar and whip cream or a cinnamon waffle with a sweet cream topping and powdered sugar. If you are really adventurous however try the Nonna. 2 waffles with bananas cooked in a delicious brown sugar and butter syrup topped with powdered sugar and of course whip cream.
